El viernes 13 de marzo de 2020, el número de casos confirmados con coronavirus en el país, asecendian a 11 personas, según el Ministerio de Salud. Los 6 nuevos de coronavirus correspondían a tres dominicanos, una francesa y dos venezolanas.
Desde el ornanismo de salud, detallaron que le están dando seguimiento domiciliario a 119 viajeros y a 18 que están hospitalizados como medida de prevención ante la pandemia de coronavirus.
Para el fin de semana, las medidas asumidas por parte del gobierno, fueron un poco más contundentes.
